C’est moi.

Trey Tetreault is a multidisciplinary producer, director, and production specialist whose work spans film, television, theatre, live events, advertising, and publishing. With over a decade of experience guiding projects from development to delivery, Trey has collaborated with visionary artists, major media platforms, and cultural icons across genres and formats.

His film and television credits include Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown (CNN), Saturday Night Live (NBC), The Mind of a Chef (PBS), and Somebody Feed Phil (Netflix). He served as producer and narrative supervisor on Holding Back the Tide, a hybrid documentary hailed as “wondrous” by The New York Times for its poetic, unconventional storytelling. As a director, his short films The Tunnel and The Missed explore grief, memory, and intimacy with an eye for atmospheric realism. He also helmed the web series I’m Fine, a dark comedy that dissects anxiety and self-sabotage in queer life.

In theatre, Trey has contributed to New York productions of Laramie: 10 Years Later, Last Room, Awake in the Dark, and Days of Rage, with a focus on new play development and story refinement. He currently serves as Co-Producer on Billie Jean, the Broadway-bound play about the legendary athlete and activist Billie Jean King. Additional upcoming projects include the feature film Actual Nobodies (dir. Alex Wyse), and the in-development play Shame and Other Virtues and the upcoming musical, Straight Forward (London).

Whether shaping creative vision, streamlining logistics, or managing high-stakes production environments, Trey brings a deep sense of craft, cultural fluency, and collaborative energy to every project. He is based in New York City and holds a B.A. in Theatre & Cinema from Virginia Tech.

I believe that supporting, communicating, listening, and leading a production towards a common goal to share the human experience, is one of the most rewarding and significant challenges. In this process, I aim to create theatre and film that transcends basic understanding. I work towards sharing life, speaking truth, and embracing humanity for all its flaws. As a director, this is my responsibility. My mission is to lift up those around me, not only so they can achieve their full potential, but so everyone can create art that holds a mirror up to society. I lead with the intention to share what life means within the given perspectives of the characters and production as a whole, but also of those with whom I am in collaboration. In doing so, I seek to enhance different perspectives and to challenge the status quo.
